Remarkably Easy To Use
Capturing and analyzing games with Sideline Video Analyzer is a straight-forward procedure.
After you purchase the program you gain access to detailed web-tutorials in the Support Central that will guide you through every step that you need to make in order to use the Analyzer.
Capture the Game
You will begin by capturing a game. We have made the
capturing process, the easiest procedure of all.
If you have a DV camcorder, just hook it up to the computer and start to capture. If you want to capture from an analog VCR, then you will need either a DV-Analog converter, or a S-Video In graphics card. We recommend the DV-Analog converter. It makes your analog VCR connection as easy to connect as the DV camcorder, and the video from it will be compatible with DV video. For more information about the DV-Converter, read this.
Once you have hooked up you DV camcorder or VCR, you can start capturing.
You will just press a Capture button to start and a Stop button to stop the capture. If you want the capture to be unattended, you can input the number of minutes you want to capture and leave the computer. That's all there is to it.
You can also capture the game straight to the computer while it is being played, if you want to be ready to analyze the minute the game is over. More information about straight to disk capturing read this.
After capturing you are ready to start analyzing.
Analyze the Game
You will input the names of your players, customize the template analysis formula we provide to your preferences, and than you are ready to tag the game.
After you tag the game, you will be able to
- Analyze you team and players performance
- Give your players visual feedback with videos
- Create highlight films in a matter of seconds
- Create DVDs, CDs, or VCR tapes with video clips from games
- Get statistics that are backed up by video
You will go through the following 4 steps.
- Capture

- Analyze
Sideline Video Analyzer is user-friendly and the teaching
material is top-notch. We guarantee you will be able
to finish the 4 steps in less than 3 hours. It's the
experience of our current users from which we draw the
information to make the guarantee.
