What is the difference between the XPS Trainer and the XPS Client?

The XPS Trainer is advanced software for the coaches and trainers. The XPS Client is a simpler version of the software designed for athletes and clients. The XPS Client can be opened up on an iPhone and on Android phones as well as on any computer.

Do I buy the XPS Client accounts for my clients or do my clients have to do it themselves?

Either way. A lot of personal trainers build the price of the XPS Client into their price as a value added service, but the registration is easy and if you have a client that has registered already, you can easily connect to him or her through your XPS Trainer.

What do I learn in the webinars?

The webinars are great for trainers that want to get personal consulting from Sideline Sports experts. Every week Sideline Sports experts are helping personal trainers transform their business. Let us show you how you can grow your business beyond your expectations.

Which package should I choose?

You can't really make a wrong choice. The free trial will help you find out what you need.

That said, it can help to understand how the features are divided up in the XPS Network.

  • All accounts include the Coach features. This includes practice calendar, play diagramming, drill/exercise/document collections, test results and so on.
  • If you want your athletes or players to have accounts where you can share information to their apps such as practice schedules, workout programs, video clips, dietary information and more, then you need to have Athlete (Pro) accounts for these athletes/players.
  • If you want to have video editing features, you'll need the Video Analyzer. It's an optional module added to the Coach account.

So basically, it comes down to this:

  • Do you need Athlete (Pro) accounts? You can always add them later, but if you are a Strength & Conditioning coach or you know that you want to share things with your ahletes/playes right away, then it makes sense to add them from the start.
  • Are you looking for a video editing solution? You want to tag and cut games, draw on video, make video clips and send to your players? Then you want to choose one of the Video Analyzer packages.

Otherwise, just start with the Coach Starter package and grow from there.

If you are an administrator for a club or organization and you know you are going to start with a coaching staff or a number of coaches for different teams, then you should look at the Club/Team packages.
